These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sahaja website and your participation in any Sahaja financial education programme. By accessing our website or submitting an enquiry or enrolment, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Sahaja
Sahaja is a financial education provider based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We offer general financial literacy programmes for women, including workshops, multi-week programmes, and structured courses. All content is for general educational purposes only. Nothing provided by Sahaja constitutes personalised financial advice, investment guidance, or regulated financial services under Malaysian law.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
- Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of our website content without our written consent
We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at our discretion.
3. Programme Enrolment
Enquiries submitted through our contact form do not constitute confirmed enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only once Sahaja has contacted you directly, provided programme details, and received your acceptance. Payment terms, session dates, and any specific requirements will be communicated at the time of confirmation.
We reserve the right to limit programme enrolment numbers to maintain the quality of our circle-based format.
4. Fees and Payment
Programme fees are as stated on our website at the time of enrolment. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of materials unless otherwise stated. Payment details are provided upon confirmation of enrolment. Fees are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Sahaja.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to withdraw from a programme after enrolment is confirmed, please notify us as early as possible. Our refund and cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 14 days before the programme start date: full refund minus any processing costs
- 7–14 days before the start date: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before the start date: no refund
If Sahaja cancels or significantly reschedules a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or an alternative session at no additional cost.
6. Participant Responsibilities
By enrolling in a Sahaja programme, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and participate respectfully
- Treat other participants, facilitators, and staff with courtesy and consideration
- Keep confidential any personal information shared by other participants within a circle session
- Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Sahaja
Sahaja reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme for behaviour that disrupts the learning environment or causes distress to others, without refund.
7. Programme Content
All Sahaja programme content is provided for general educational purposes and general information only. It does not constitute and should not be relied upon as financial advice. Participants should make their own independent enquiries and, where appropriate, seek professional financial advice for their individual circumstances.
Sahaja makes reasonable efforts to ensure content accuracy but does not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during Sahaja programmes — including workbooks, journals, handbooks, and worksheets — are the intellectual property of Sahaja. They are provided for personal use by enrolled participants only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sahaja is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or participation in our programmes. Our total liability to you in connection with any programme shall not exceed the fee paid by you for that programme.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or participation in programmes following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
